This story had a promising start, an unique universe and an attractive main character. There is another secret society of dragons who see Bryn as a perfect tool for displacing the Directorate. You see, Bryn is a half-breed, and she shouldn't exist in the first place. You see, Bryn's parents are not the same type of dragons, and in the dragon world, it is strictly forbidden to be with someone who is not the same type of dragon as you.Īfter Brynn finds out she is a dragon, she is sent to a special school for her specie where she is exploring the new world and where she founds out someone wants her death. So this story follows Bryn, a 16 year old girl who finds out she is a shape shifting dragon who's parents are rejected from their society because they married each other. Now, after reading it, I kinda feel bad about writing my review since I didn't like the book all that much. So after expressing my interest for Going Down in Flames the writer contacted me with a question if I would like to receive a free copy in an exchange for an honest review. When I first saw a cover for this book and read it's blurb, I wanted to read it really bad. I have to admit it, I judge a book by it's cover. it sounds like nothing I have read before so I really, really want to read it (ASAP). I really hope I will somehow manage to have this book in my hands.
